Molokini Snorkel Trip

These pictures on sneaking in for a blog date of August 30th. I'll be adding some with previous dates, but I couldn't wait to post these. It was an amazing day!

Just relaxing in the harbor after checking in - waiting to be called to board our boat. We did the Molokini Wild Side Eco-Adventure through PWF.

At the first snorkel location, we saw this guy. He was coming up for a breath and just chilled out for a minute or two before taking a dive down. I saw another one swim right underneath me when I was in the water.

We took a ride past La Perouse. I really love this part of the island. The picture is dark, but the rocky terrain is lavarock - which dark redish-black. Beautiful.

Captain Leanna said we were in for a treat because the weather conditions were perfect. We were able to do a "blue sea dive". I think that's what she called it.

We just jumped off the boat in the middle of the ocean - she said over 400 ft depth. it was incredibly clear and just overwhelming to look into such a great expanse of nothing. She said you might feel like you're in space, except if you were in space, I'd imagine at least then you would be able to see stars. This was just endless blue. Very humbling.
